Bavarian Inn Lodge Mural
Located indoors, find Willy the Dragon and his friends playing throughout the Bavarian Inn properties located in the Family Fun Center next to the Ratskeller and on the back wall of the stage. Keep your eyes open for more murals while at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. Check inside Oma's Restaurant, Lorelei Lounge, and the mini golf course for more!

Bavarian Inn Restaurant Mural
Located indoors, find the Legend of the Pied Piper. In 1984, on the 700th anniversary of the event, the Bavarian Inn of Frankenmuth commissioned artist Terry L Dickinson to research the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. These murals were completed on April 15, 1985 on the walls along the stairway of the Bavarian Inn Castle Shops, Main dining floor, and leading up to the second floor.

Covered Bridge Shop Mural
Located outdoors at the back of the building, find the "Schmetterling," the German word for butterfly, gracing the space with its vibrant beauty. This artistic addition not only enhances the building with its colors but also celebrates German heritage. On the south side of the building, you'll find another mural depicting the construction of the Holz-Brücke Covered Bridge, further enriching the surroundings with historical charm and storytelling.

Frankenmuth Cheese Haus Mural
Located outdoors on the west side of the building, find the Almabtrieb, a German word for the traditional festival. This is when animals are brought down from mountain pastures at the end of summer. It is one of the major village celebrations in mountain farming regions and has grown into an important event on the tourist calendar.

Located outdoors, find the Black Forest clock peddler at the entrance and the Uhrenmaker on the front of the building both signifying who the Clock Company is.
Frankenmuth Credit Union Mural
Located outdoors, find a beautiful field of flowers painted alongside the drive-through on the backside of the building. This allows the members to take in the artistic beauty each time they visit the branch.
Frankenmuth Florist Mural
Located outdoors, find a young boy kneeling on the rocks trying to pick Edelweiss flowers by the front of the Greenhouse
Frankenmuth Fudge Kitchen Mural
Located outdoors, find the beautiful tribute not only to the origin of fudge making in Michigan but to the family's 59 years of candy making. The illusion of depth in this mural is unique to the murals in Bavaria, Germany where the artist studied. The final touches on the mural include a hand painted floral trellis to cover gas and electrical conduits on the wall.

Located outdoors, find a mural with depictions of the first fifteen talking to the local Native Americans, the building of the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, and the development of the downtown area including Zehnder's and Bavarian Inn.
Frankenmuth Visitor Center
Located outdoors, find murals located on the building tower completed in 1970s to pay tribute to one of Frankenmuth's city managers and his work to protect the city from floods. Did you know this building was originally the Water Works building? Now the Visitor Center where you can grab a complete list of festivals, events, things to do or stock up on brochures, maps, bier passport, and more while the knowledgeable representatives welcome you to Frankenmuth.

Frankenmuth Wickson District Library Mural
Located outdoors, find a mural that was developed after the second floor renovation in 1998 to add some color to a large white wall facing the parking lot. Steve Hargash was commissioned to paint the mural but permission needed to be obtained by the Hummel people in Germany. You can also find another mural in the entrance of the children's area.

Located outdoors, find a mural painted from a sketch of a photo from the late 1800s of the 130 year old building known as the Woolen Mill located on the north side of the building. You will also find a hand painted sheep located there too.
Funky Skunk Mural
Located outdoors find an Irish countryside with sheep peacefully grazing, set against the backdrop of a majestic castle. This mural captures the essence of Ireland's scenic beauty, inviting you to embrace the charm and tranquility of the Emerald Isle.
Memorial Park Mural
Located outdoors, find a violin with music notes on each side behind the main stage at the Palmer Schau Platz Bandshell. Palmer Schau Platz is stated on a flowing banner underneath the violin. The mural is a short walk away from the parking that can be found in various locations around the park.
Rau's Country Store, Inc. Mural
Located outdoors on the south side of the building, find three panels highlighting the founders and the other six panels designed to look like windows showcasing various items sold at Frankenmuth's and Michigan's most unusual country store.
South side of 568 S. Main Building Mural
Located outdoors, find the bright and uplifting piece, "The Magnificent Journey" at the south side of the building. This is the artist's largest outdoor mural measuring 16-feet-high and 120-feet-long.
Spray Park Mural
Located outdoors, find a vibrant display of colors and water droplets representing the family fun ready to be had at the Jaycee Spray Park. Cool off from the heat by splashing in the water features, stay dry and explore the playground, or better yet, do both!
The Michigan Shoppe Mural
Located outdoors, find a mural with an assortment of iconic scenes and symbols in Michigan. Step inside to shop Michigan made products from local artisans.
Tiffany's Mural
Located indoors, find a 60 year old painting of several cherubs looking down at you on the ceiling in the back of dining room. This mural was painted by the Davidek brothers. Take a step back in time when you enter a turn of the century restaurant/ bar featuring fresh pastas, pizza and charbroiled specialties.
White House Boutique Mural
Located outdoors, find hand painted red roses that climb to the top of three trellises at the back of the building. Few things symbolize love like the red roses.
Willi's Sausage Company Mural
Located outdoors on the side of the building by the parking lot, find a 3D image of what it might have looked like inside the store many years ago. The mural features the Rupprecht Crest and Willi Becker, the previous owner and master sausage maker from Germany. Step inside to see the real Rupprecht Crest and for some German hospitality, Bavarian recipes, over 100 kinds of meat, and more.
